Larkins are possibly Manchester’s fastest growing up-and-coming band- and that’s quite an achievement! It’s been little over a year since they were headlining Band on The Wall, then, shortly after, Manchester Academy 2 and Saturday night saw them take on their biggest hometown gig yet, The Albert Hall.
Over the past few weeks it seems Manchester-based bands have really been taking over the city, more than ever before. With some of the biggest shows for some of the best growing artists, it’s been difficult to not get excited. This weekend it was Saytr Plays turn to take to their stage for their biggest headline yet
On Saturday Manchester Academy 2 saw a massive homegrown show take to its stage. The night, headlined by Glass Caves, was a huge step for the local group, who tightly packed the great venue with hundreds of excited followers. Not only that, but supporting the quartet was another two of Manchester’s finest upcoming artists Kashmere and Freeda, who were the perfect openers for the unforgettable night
